- 1 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Cream butter and sugar well. Add egg, vanilla and almond extract. Beat well.
Stir together flour and baking powder. Add gradually to creamed mixture, creating a smooth dough.
Force cookie dough through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate.
Bake at 400 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
